It's official...I am cooking at Terlingua!

I got my official "You are allowed to cook at Terlingua" card today! It was blue...just like my mother told me it would be.

I will be going in November where I will be cooking chili against my mom and sil...all three of us are using the same recipe...Mom's recipe, of course!

Let the showdown begin! Who is the best chili cooker in the Coad family...come November...we will have the answer!

The power of Wii!

OMG! I am so totally hooked on the Wii! I beat my dh at batting practice last night...I hit the ball 587 feet!

Is it awful that I had more fun creating my Mii than I did actually playing a game?

Today I am going to try boxing and golf...and race my dh at Mario Kart! Of course we are only testing the Wii out for a little bit so we can make sure it works before ds gets back and we give it to him. We really aren't having any fun testing it out though...I promise!

Now...if I could only get my hands on a Wii fit!

Stupid weight loss wall!

I got stuck at a wall awhile back and then started losing the weight again. I figured that I would lose 8-10 pounds before I hit another wall...I was so wrong! 3 pounds...that's it!

The crappy thing is that my trainer is going to have to kick my ass to get me off of this wall. Which means that I am going to suffer and I am going to have to call him some serious names...I already call him "The Spawn of Satan"...although he know that I mean that in the kindest way possible!

My dear husband is now on the band wagon...he has his healthy breakfasts and lunches planned for the whole week and he meets with his trainer once a week starting on Tuesday.

I am going to have to kill him if he loses in 1 month what took me 3 months of hard work to lose!
