10 year Anniversary!!!

My husband have been married for 10 years today...it has been a bumpy road, but I think we are finally beginning to have realisitic expectations of each other and realize the good things in one another. The next 10 years will hold much fun and adventure for us!

My dad is coming for Christmas...yikes!!!

After my dad called me to tell me that he is asking for a divorce from his crazy psycho wife, I offered for him to come to Dallas for Christmas. I am hoping that we are able to mend some of the broken trust between him and I. I really want my son to have a relationship with his grandfather.

I do know the history of my father so I have not holding my breath or putting too much stock in this time together. If things are able to improve...great...if not...then it is his loss for not realizing what a great family he has here in Texas.

I pick him up at the airport tomorrow and he leaves again the following Wednesday...wish me luck!

New commitment to health and future...

My husband is worried about our long term health and being able to play with our grandchidlren some day. We talked about getting a membership to the local city natatorium that has a gym and an indoor swimming pool...something for all of us, including Benjamin.

I am going to go over there this weekend and get a year membership and give to JB and Benjamin for Christmas. Less time on the computer getting fatter and more time spent with family getting healthier...looks like a win win situation to me.
